Her name is Cirenia Guerrero, and her life-long fans can immediately recognize her lively and energetic spirit. For over two decades, Cirenia’s unique style has greatly contributed to radio, both in Spanish and in English, television, and locally printed newspapers.

In 1995, she completely immersed herself in the communications business and began to record a fashion segment, “Buscando la moda,” on KVER-Channel 12’s (Univision Palm Desert CA) popular weekly talent show, “Cante y Gane.” Just two years later, she was the host of her very own half-hour-long television show, “¡Qué Pasa con Cirenia!” on KUNA-Channel 15 (Telemundo Palm Desert CA).

With her delightful fusion of fashion, entertainment, and sports news geared toward the bilingual and bicultural young Latino, Cirenia’s show aired for four consecutive seasons. In 2002, she ran two publishing companies, including a guide to real estate (Southern California) and Loud Americana (Palm Springs CA), a bilingual magazine catered to the modern Latin market.

In 2004, Cirenia returned to the world of radio with “The Desert Radio Group” (Palm Springs CA), bringing with her all the expertise in media and ties to the community acquired in past years to produce “Cirenia al Mediodía,” on air Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 1 PM on KFUT-1270 AM. After four years on Spanish radio, in 2011, she started “Charge it Up” motivational events to inspire her followers.

In 2012, she made a move that would propel her to the next level; Cirenia crossed over to English! Stronger, brighter, and happier than ever before, she joined Crush 103.9 FM as the midday DJ.
