President, Ethan Kaminsky, Kaminsky Productions

   A Palm Springs native, Ethan attended the prestigious Art Center College of Design.  Ethan is known as one of the most creative commercial photographers on the West Coast and is the founder and owner of Kaminsky Productions. His commitment to excellence on every project has earned numerous awards and accolades over the years.  Kaminsky Productions offers a fullrange of advertising, public relations and new media services. 

Past President, Tim O’Bayley, O’Bayley Communications  

  Tim O’Bayley, Principal of O’Bayley Communications and immediate Past-President of AAF Palm Springs Desert Cities, has over thirty years of experience in creative and technical writing, marketing communications, graphic design, and public relations, from the smallest non-profits to the largest corporate entities in the world. As a desert resident since 1998, he knows how to get things done here. He launched O’Bayley Communications, a ‘small but mighty’ Public Relations & Design firm, in 2004.  Not coincidentally, that is also the year in which Tim became involved with AAF Palm Springs Desert Cities. O’Bayley Communications provides public relations, advertising, and graphic design services for a wide range of clients including several Coachella Valley non-profit organizations. The Desert Business Association recently named Tim “Business Person of the Year.”

Vice President, Krisann Bacon, Time Warner Cable

 Krisann holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and American History, as well as a Masters in Business Administration.  She worked previously as an independent Political Consultant for various candidates and lobbyists in Salt Lake City. For the last eight years Krisann has worked for Time Warner Cable Media Sales as Sales Manager managing local and regional television marketing plans.She is married with two dogs.

Secretary, Jeff Levine, Lamar Outdoor Advertising

 Jeff has lived in the Coachella Valley since 1980 and is a graduate of Palm Springs High School and San Diego State University.  Jeff has been in advertising in the Coachella Valley since 1994.  His career started in sales at the Desert Sun followed by the position of General Manager of the Desert Community Newspaper Group.  In 1999 he transitioned to outdoor advertising where he is currently the Sales Manager for Lamar Outdoor Advertising Palm Springs. The Power of Outdoor Advertising Never Turns the Page, Never Changes the Channel and is Impossible to Ignore.

Treasurer, Dayna Smith

  Dayna was born and raised in the Coachella Valley, and attended College of the Desert. Her career started at The Desert Sun Media Group in 1995 where she has worked in Circulation, Finance and finally as a Media Sales Manager for the Coachella Valley territory. Dayna owns a business with her husband that was started in 2001, Smith's Desert Carpet Tile & Upholstery Cleaning, and in January 2012 she was hired as the department sales manager at Retrotel, in Palm Springs.

  Scott is the Creative Director for Indian Wells based advertising and brand communications studio, Scott Burch Design. Scott is constantly striving for new energy in design and believes good design encompasses us in every aspect of our lives. "Good design sells, guides, creates and most importantly teaches."   Whether consumer or B2B, people go to Scott Burch Design for something more: their ability to convey messaging with visual impact and valuable content in provocative, exciting ways.  They don't do ordinary. And they don't expect you to, either.

Nyla Patzner, The Living Desert

  Nyla is the Marketing and Public Relations Manager for the Living Desert. Most recently she served as the Marketing and Advertising Manager for the Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism. She has over 10+ years experience in marketing, advertising, corporate communications and branding strategy with a focus on the travel and tourism industry. Located 15 minutes from Palm Springs, The Living Desert is Palm Deserts’ only Zoo and Botanical Garden, playing an important role in desert conservation through preservation, education and appreciation.

Kevin Rochlitz, Imprint Media Productions

 Television production and advertising are dual passions for Kevin. His work experience covers a broad range of disciplines over 14 years in marketing, advertising, television station operations & TV commercial production. Kevin is currently a Producer with Imprint Media Productions and charisr the membership committee of Desert AdFed.

Jody Tague,  The Desert Radio Group

  A Southern California native, Jody grew up in Anaheim and moved to the Desert in 2001.  She has been working in marketing & advertising for the past 12 years with such companies as Panda Management Company (Panda Express), Station Casinos, Spotlight 29 Casino, KPSP TV and for the past seven years with The Desert Radio Group.
